For a road journey from Delhi to Agra, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi, one gets to explore right up to the very trenches of the cultural and spiritual hub of North India, wherein lies the charm of every single city.
A good enough place to set this feverish capital off is the metropolis, vividly modern and ancient. The Red Fort is filled with history and serves as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for Mughal architecture. Additionally, there is a visit to one of the biggest mosques in India—the Jama Masjid. The Lotus Temple gets its name from its shape and brings a tranquility-imbued soothing component into the hustle and bustle of the city.
Situated 3–4 hours from Delhi, Agra is the city that hosts the wonderful Taj Mahal. Constructed from white marble, this mausoleum was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and has gained worldwide reputation for its extraordinary beauty and minute detailing. Another massive Agra Fort represents the glorious monuments of Agra, allowing insight into the Mughal fortifications and royal life. There is a beautiful view across the Yamuna River from Mehtab Bagh Gardens to one of the finest views of the Taj Mahal.
The drive from Agra to Ayodhya takes five hours; this place has deep religious importance as the mythic birthplace of Lord Rama. Ancient temples are not left out in Ayodhya; it is said that the complex of Ram Janmabhoomi is situated here. Further, the presence of the serene Sarayu River enhances the significance here, according to Hindu religious perceptions.
A 3 hour drive from Ayodhya will bring you to Prayagraj, earlier known as Allahabad. This town is an area where Ganga, Yamuna, and mythological Saraswati all come together as the Sangam. Once every 12 years, this city is the venue for Kumbh Mela where tens of thousands of people gather and transform Prayagraj into the largest pilgrimage destination. Other spots within the city limits are the Allahabad Fort and Anand Bhavan, which happened to be the home of one-time Nehru, Jawaharlal.
A four-hour drive from eastern Uttar Pradesh brings one to Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Then there is Varanasi—synonymous with its many ghats along the Ganges, offering the most surreal spiritual experience with its everyday rituals and ceremonies. While, on the other hand, there are so many temples in Tripura, through whose small lanes one gets entry into the religious and cultural center of India.
It’s perfect for a flexible and immersive travel itinerary that takes one on an experiential journey through the iconic cities, each one uniquely contributing to the rich tapestry of heritage and spirituality that is Northern India.
EXCELLENT Based on 316 reviews Posted on Andrea Fava FishingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Eva Røgler HesselbergTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an amazing 9-days trip in Rajasthan with a private driver, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The itinerary was very well planned and allowed us to see and experience so much beautiful architecture, rich culture, and incredible food along the way. Our driver, Jagram, was professional, calm, and highly skilled, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. He was always punctual, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We truly felt well taken care of from start to finish and can highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Rajasthan in a smooth and memorable way.Posted on Thomas HesselbergTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was recommended to go with Brijesh from a friend, and I was not disappointed. Although we booked only four days in andvance and Brijesh himself was not available, he was flexible and organised his cousin Jagram as our driver for a 9-day trip through Rajasthan. Jagram was a safe and good driver, and handled the crazy Indian traffic like a champ. He was also flexible at all times, tailoring the trip to our needs and desires (such as random stops on the way, and finding a nice place for a haircut). They also organised great guides in Agra and Jaipur, and Brijesh met us in Jaipur and invited us for dinner. Very nice people!Posted on AbhiiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked car service and tours with Brijesh across multiple days and cities for a customized itinerary spanning 12 days. Brijesh was extremely available and proactive right from when I first spoke with him regarding details of the booking and our needs. During the trip, his communication was great from start to end, and he arranged for high quality tour guides and drivers in every city. The drivers would always arrive earlier than pick time and drop me a message. The guides all spoke English and knew their stuff. So glad we found Brijesh and his tour company - Made our India vacation fun and easy!Posted on Sophia TonneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Super Service!
